This thread is weird. The OP was funny. The subsequent \*\* Buckety \*\* posts were funny. He even says in the post that it’s not a big deal. But people came in with serious posts? Then even **begert** takes **tibbytoes** post seriously? Then there’s the comparisons of people’s arguments for wanting to remain avatar-less with anti-vaxxers or anti-gays. Oh, “we’re just saying they’re just as illogical.” Really? So not wanting avatars for fear of thread hijacks is more illogical than wanting avatars because some people like quick visual references to people? Those both look like reasonable arguments, particularly when we’re talking about personal preferences (which can’t always be supported with reason. You know like, “I hate all jello and refuse to eat any new flavors.” Oh, that’s just like an anti-vaxxer’s argument!") Or is this whole thread a whoosh and everyone gets it but me? Yeah, I could see that. Hey, FoieGraslsEvil, I already called the Christ on the floor-mounted dildo avatar! In fact, I want the apostles too arranged like the Last Supper except on the floor, of course. ---

OMG STOP TALKING ABOUT AVATARS! When I joined this message board, I was specifically promised that there would be no avatar discussions! Not in their own threads, not as hijacks of other threads, not as coded messages that require assembling every fifth letter of a post in the thread - no avatar talk whatsoever! If there is going to be avatar talk here, I just… I just don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m going to cry tears of rage into my glitter unicorn puppy poster, that’s what I’m going to do. :mad: ---
