# Avatars?

What’s this about avatars? Are the _hoi polloi_ allowed to have one?

Well, if you click on User CP, Edit Options, and Avatars–More Info, you get a page that says:

> Here’s the list of currently available avatars:

Blank.

I’m guessing that avatars eat up too much bandwidth, and the boards are slow as it is.
