It’s a metaphorical betting pool. No actual money will exchange hands. The rules are simple. _Avengers: Age of Ultron_ is scheduled to open on May 1, 2015. How much money do you guess it will gross in its opening weekend? 1. One guess per person. No repeating somebody else’s guess. 2. Opening weekend is defined as May 1 through May 3. 3. Domestic ticket sales in the United States only. 4. Guesses should be in United States dollars. 5. All guesses will be rounded off to the nearest million. 6. In the unlikely event the opening gets rescheduled, all guesses will automatically apply to its new opening weekend. 7. The amount published by Box Office Mojo will be the official amount for determining the winner. 8. All guesses must be posted by April 30. Everyone is of course free to post speculations, opinions, and random thoughts about various factors that will apply. My guess: $195,000,000 ---

Oh yeah, if The Whedon even remotely delivers - and I believe he will, by all teasers to date and because he’s Joss Whedon - then…hmm, what is the current record for a summer blockbuster? A lot more than that. Say $150mm. ---
