I play this movie, I get no errors, but I only get sound. The only images are from the windows media visualization.

Is there a solution that would let me play the video? maybe another media player?

You lack the codec (Compressor/Decompressor) to play the video. A .avi file can contain any time of audio or video, but most likely the file you have uses the DivX video codec. This is not included with windows, so you’ll need to download a supplemental codec to play the video. This is available from [www.divx.com](http://www.divx.com), you want DivX 5.02 Basic. You do not need DivXPro.

Oops. Teach me to be too lazy to use VBcode…
[This is the correct link](http://www.divx.com).
