**madrabbitwoman** , This isn’t medical advice, of course, just want to mention that I got to a certain age and stopped being able to handle caffiene without exactly the symptoms you described. No caffiene, no problem. ---

Son of a bean! My husband’s been gone all month and he was supposed to be home for dinner tonight. I scrambled all over today cleaning and stuff and was going to make him a special dinner. Now his flight’s delayed and he won’t be home until after I’m in bed. He won’t be home until after I’m in bed tomorrow night, as well. So I don’t get to see him before he leaves again. I’m so completely bummed right now. And I really don’t like my new haircut. ---

Why do people think it’s “cold” out when it’s -8 degrees C (16 degrees F)? That’s not cold at all. I wish to God that it was as warm as that where I am, where it’s -40. Then I could actually go outside. :mad: ---

Though I don’t actually listen to an iPod in public much, and when I do, I try not to groove along to it too much. 🙂 Maybe I’m too much of a classical musician. At classical concerts, you aren’t supposed to move around too much in your seat in the audience. 🙂 ---

I once saw a lady - about 30 or so - dancing down the street while listening to an iPod. I gave her a “thumbs up” and she nodded to me and kept on dancing. I wanted to find her and make her my new best friend. I lip-synch to my music when I’m running because it helps me breathe. I know I look like a jackass and I don’t care, I’m RUNNING. ---

Meanwhile, I’d like to fuck Microsoft right up the ass with an agave leaf. I installed XP on to a laptop the SO picked up used for her son to ‘play’ with. No problems, I went to Windows Update and it said that IE6 is no longer compatible with Update. Cool, says I, I’ll just update to 8. So, I download 8, and what does it tell me? I can’t install 8 unless I have already installled XP SP2. Damn. Go to find SP2. Can’t download it because IE6 isn’t compatible with Windows Update. What’s more, IE that I have to use is so old that it keeps crashing after failing to load a page. So after several failed attempts at downloading SP2 or SP3, I just said fuck it and went to bed. Just downloaded SP3 and stuck it on a thumb drive. I’ll try to install it this evening. ---
