# Awesome moments with strangers

Oh, one more… When my first son passed away at 10 weeks old, very premature, I had to shop for clothes for him to wear for his funeral at the Build a Bear Workshop. The day after his funeral, I went back to Build a Bear to buy a bear wearing the same outfit my son had been laid out in. The clerk was a teenager, and she made the mistake of asking who I was buying the bear for. After I told her my story, she took several of their “frequent shopper” cards, stamped them, and made sure I did not have to pay a penny for the bear.
