This might have been posted before, but this is an amazing amature video from South Africa. As the video title implies, we’ve got ourselves a fight between a pride of lions, a heard of cape buffs, and a couple of crocs.

That’s got to be one of the coolest videos I’ve seen in quite a while. I won’t spoil it for anyone, but you really need to go and watch it. Thanks for the linky **T\_SQUARE**.

That video is _so_ last year…

…and yet it just never stops being amazing and compelling, imho.

National Geographic is currently airing a show that deconstructs the events, including some digital enhancement of the footage. According to NG site, the next time it will be on is this Thursday (05/22/08)

Huh. Too bad I have guests coming that evening, because it’s one of the few things I’d actually like to see on TV.
