Cricket. August 2015, Fourth Test of the Ashes series between England and Australia. Australia were sent in to bat and collapsed in an apocalyptic 93 minutes in 18.3 overs for just 60 runs in losing all 10 wickets. Every junior and park cricket team in the country had a benchmark low to judge their own incompetence. The T-shirt is shows the complete batting scorecard, every ball bowled, every wicket and run. And it fits in a tweet. The Poms dished the sledging about it incessantly, until March this year when New Zealand squished them for a equally mortifying 58 all out. ---

It doesn’t feature a funny quip, but I thought it was a cool-looking Celtic pattern so I had it silkscreened on to a black tee shirt back in college. The first one a little old lady at the grocery store recognized the reference, which made my day. I’m going to get [this one](https://www.snorgtees.com/thunderbolt-and-lightning) for my youngest son (11) for Christmas and [this one](https://shirt.woot.com/offers/furrdie-mercury) for my oldest (13). They’re both Queen fans and I suspect they’ll love 'em. ---
