ETA: I SOOOOO ‘accidentally on purpose’ want to work ‘Retards’ into one of my work emails one day. Problem is. Most people who get emails from me know that ‘Regards’ is part of my automated signature. If they saw ‘Retards’ they’d suspect foul-play.
During the 2004 primary races, a lot of conservative-leaning blogs managed to refer to Howard Dean as “Howard Dead”. Seeing as how n and d are nowhere near each other on the keyboard, some may wish to (and indeed, some did) work a Freudian angle into this.
