Plenty of comedic opportunities with these types of double-meaning: one I remember was from ‘Blackadder Goes Forth’ when Bob(1) says, “I want to see how the war is fought - so badly!” and Blackadder replies:

“Well, you’ve come to the right place. A war hasn’t been fought **this badly** since Olaf the Hairy ordered two thousand(2) battle helmets with the horns on the _inside_.

(1) a throwback joke to Blackadder II where a young woman is disguised as a man.

(2) I may have the number incorrect, but otherwise I believe the quoted exchange is verbatim.

I’m the office manager at a commercial cleaning company. My boss’ favorite “funny” line is, “We want to clean your office in the worst way.”

And don’t forget _terrific_. “You look terrific,” usually means very good, but it can mean, “You look scary.”
