I remember Kim Basinger at the Oscar’s (it might have been the year she won, but _not_ her acceptance speech) where she was quite petrified. My wife and I felt sorry for her. ---

Milton Berle and RuPaul traded not-joking barbs at the MTV movie awards. I remember Berle saying, “You wanna ad-lib? I’ll make it fair and leave my brain at the door.” ---

Marlon Brando sending Sacheen Littlefeather in to refuse the best actor award for him. ---

Littlefeather? I think she was about as much American Indian as the Easter Bunny. At least Marlon Brando knew what he deserved. The awkward moment I remember was in the Cleo Awards, when an award went to 9-Lives for the Morris commercials. Morris was brought on stage and his handler nearly dropped him. That couldn’t have done much for his opinion of humans. :smack: ---

The most recent one I’ve seen was Aubrey Plaza at the MTV Movie Awards. Will Ferrell just received his award, when [Aubrey Plaza jumps on stage with a drink in her hand, visibly drunk, and tries to… God-knows-what, before going back to her seat.](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDjFPLA3EZQ) It’s hard to understand what she was thinking. And it’s a shame, because I really like the girl ---
