Didn’t anyone else parse “model” as a make of product, like a refrigerator? I thought of TYM as an anthropomorphised refrigerator when I wasn’t thinking of him as a fortysomething with wire-frame glasses. **Frank** , what were you actually thinking of when you picked your name? ---

You’re half right though. The connotations of a new model were there for me. I try to keep from fossilizing into a carictature of myself, to stay fresh and think in new ways, and so on and so forth, so that was there. The cocaine and runway model never crossed my mind. If you add grey hair and a grey beard to your picture of a forty-eight year old with wire rim glasses, that would be me. ---
