I for one, am greatful that **Eve** was talking about a dog obviously transported to this dimension from an earth that is a post-apocalyptic nuclear wasteland. When I saw the thread title, I feared she was actually gushing over a dog in such a manner. That would mean she had turned into Pwincess Pwecious and the onwy muhseefull thing to doos would be to twack her down and shoot her. ---

As soon as things quiet down a bit at work, I am going to have our production manager print out a good color copy of Lā€™il Sam (my printer at home isnā€™t that good), so I can have a framed copy at my desk to frighten passersby. ā€œJesusā€”_what_ the hell is _that!?_ā€ ā€œAw, thatā€™s my new puppyā€”isnā€™t he _cute?_ā€ ---

After my last old pug died, Iā€™ve decided not to get any more dogs, and Iā€™m getting a bit tired of folks asking me if Iā€™ve gotten a new puppy yet. Now I can just say yes and point to the framed Sam ā€“ thatā€™ll shut 'em up. And kill their appetite for lunch. ---

Yep, I got that from Bat Boy. It seemed appropriate given my reaction to Sam, which seemed exactly like that of the villagers to poor sweet Edgar. Although Bat Boy cleans up to [look like this!](http://fan.star-wisher.com/deven/) I donā€™t think Sam could ever look better even if he stops snarling.
