I’m addressed as ‘my dear’ and ‘my friend’ in notifications. I’m given, oh, I don’t know 20 ‘special, just for me’ deals and discounts a day. Thanked profusely for putting things in my cart. (I swear I didn’t do that) I’ve given them a precursory glance. Never ordered the first thing. Now folks around here, I won’t name names, use the site alot. So I assume I got in that way. ---

Madame P. and our 40+ year old daughter buy lots of fibbledy bits and shiny things from Temu. At least it’s inexpensive. Madame DID get me a very nice red jacket there, though. ---

I see ads pop up for Temu regularly. The one ad that had links to sex toys, which showed up on my work computer, was amusing, if extremely NSFW. ---

Yes. It’s Alibaba on steroids. The lil’wrekker loves it for junky earrings, socks and makeup thingys. Ivy has just noticed they have crafting supplies. I predict a lot more deliveries. I feel so special😊 ---

I did look at something on Temu, and Citibank was kind enough to point out that I can buy it. Those do seem to be ridiculous prices. I presume that slave labor enters into their expenses, or rather, lack of. ---

I let Temu spam my mailbox for about three weeks but they never once had any coupons or discounts beyond the generic “a bajillion items are discounted!” stuff so I cut them off and changed my mail to shipping stuff only. ---
