**danceswithcats** I am _not_ opposed to “Dubya” for his conservative mentality as much as for his astounding inarticulation, ineptitude and immaturity. I will admit my own behavior on the SDMB and in real life is not always mature and sophisticated. However, I am _not_ the President of the United States either. I expect a US President to behave in a manner much more befitting the highest office in America. I disagreed with President Ronald Reagan on a great many political issues, but he spoke well and behaved in a dignified manner. I remember after the Challenger disaster, President Reagan made a short speech late that afternoon concerning the tragedy. Granted, he couldn’t bring back those 7 lives, but his words conveyed the sorrow and also a feeling of hope. By way of comparison, I cannot think of anything memorable that “Dubya” said on or after September 11, 2001 to reassure the American people. The only reason this guy got to be President is that he “chose” his parents wisely. ---

Several people here on the Dope would be much better presidents. The only difference is, none of us were born with silver spoons in our mouths. To make something like this 10[sup]17[/sup] use these tags as follows 10 \17\ except of course substitute **[** for _ **\<** _ and **]** for _ **\>** _ See, I also hang around GQ where scientific notation comes in handy. ---

Well, damn, don’t that beat all! Here we are, red-blooded Americans, being taken to school on Bush-bashing by a goldurn Yurpeen! Now that’s a crying shame, we should eat Amarillo road kill and wash it down with a 6-pack of Coors before we’d let something like that happen! (I hope that you don’t mind if I point out for some our Northern friends that you are a Conservative male from Alabama supporting a Black female for President of the United States.
