We’re getting close. I’d counter with: Lets leave Tommy T. doing what he’s been doing so very well. How about McCain and Pat Summit? Good leadership and we also bring down the Evil Empire that U.T. women’s basketball has been for the past 20 years, all in one swift, decisive stroke of genius?

Yeah, but Condi’s Homegirl. And, actually, why, gasp…some of my best friends are Black females. No shit! Would I stoop to using a worn out phrase like that if it weren’t true?

In fact, I know one such person that would be a better prez than Condi, but she’s too busy maintaining order around Tuskegee. You’d like her: On her living room wall she’s got pictures of her grand-dad shaking hands with Bobby Kennedy and her dad shaking hands with Jimmy Carter and her great-uncle embracing Slick Willie.  
This lass is made of stern stuff, however. Asked her to do some dirty-work for me on a trip we made to D.C. last winter and she kicked more doors down in one afternoon than I could have in a week. All it cost me was dinner and teaching her how to dance The Shag.

This thread was pointed fun, and based on Pittish wailing and gnashing of teeth, but it’s sputtered down into jokin’ and joshin’ around.

Obviously it isn’t moveable but it’s not really yeasty Pit material any more.
