How dare you attribute a quote to me [in this post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=5394177&postcount=236) , when it is obvious that the post was made by Peter Morris, [in this earlier post!](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=5391793&postcount=192) . I haven’t known you to be an out and out liar, a fabricator of imagined events. Have I just not been paying attention? Or have you had me fooled? Anyway, at the very least, you owe me an apology. (I’d expect stuff like this from Bryan Ekers… but glee??? Shit. I thought you were better than this.) ---

Oh, please. Clearly he erred in attributing those quotes to you, nevertheless, the intent of the post is quite obvious even to the most feeble-minded of readers. Whether you made the statements in question or simply agree with them is immaterial to the point \*_glee_ was trying to get across. ---

the thread itself held no interest to me, but I checked out the last page, just in case. so, **glee** misattributed a quote? Instead of, in the thread saying “dude, that wasn’t me, it was some one else”, you instead open up a new thread to call him a liar? schmuck. ---
