In the previous thread, Snakespirit agrees with a lot of unpleasant allegations made by Peter Morris about James Randi. I call Snakespirit on it and ask for cites. Because I miss out one ‘quote’, **even though my meaning is perfectly clear** , I get called abusive names too. And of course Snakespirit refuses to back up any of his snide remarks. What frustration do you attribute to Snakespirit? Don’t you think the rest of us feel frustrated that he won’t provide any cites? ---

I think the great battle betwen the Skeptics (numerous) and the Psi Supporters (not numerous) has worn out the Psi Supporters (not numerous) a bit; nerves are frayed and tempers are hot on both sides, it would appear. In another Pit thread **Priceguy** was proclaiming how eager he is to see me banned, while I for the life of me can’t recall interacting with the fellow. I wish we could all treat each other nicely as fellow Dopers at this point and forget the battle for a bit. Snakespirit is one of my favorite posters on the board, but in the spirit of objectivity I will admit that this thread is pretty useless. Why don’t we all just clean our guns and go at it another day? Personally, I have lots to do and don’t intend to get into debates until after the election. ---

Of the people who posted to this thread: 11 devoted themselves to avoiding issues and trashing me. They used long posts, degredation and multiple posts. All flash, no substance. 13 made either reasonable or humerous comments without trashing. It restores my faith in the SDMB. ---
