What’s even more surprising is that we don’t have a milkman!
I’m just gonna have to wait the 25 days til I’m due. I don’t know anything about the baby other than it’s not a puppy. Dave really wanted a puppy.

Just don’t be like me and insist “these blue eyes are sure to change!”. I love his big blue eyes now.
Well my three year olds eyes seem to be changing from day to day. They are now a beautiful dark grey-green. My wife’s eyes changed from bright blue to green. When she was 16.
Tell Dave I’ll send him a greyhound.
So what I’m hearing here is ‘who the heck knows’?
That’s about the size of it, yeah.
To continue the anecdotal evidence, here’s the rundown on my family. My wife’s family is of Ashkenazic Jewish descent; her father has brown eyes and hair, her mother’s are medium brown with red hair; her paternal grandfather had blue eyes and blond hair. She’s got medium brown eyes with hints of green, and dark hair.
My father has brownish hair (what he has) and hazel eyes. Mom has jet black hair and very dark brown eyes. I had red hair as a kid that darkened to brown with hints of red in my early teens (one of my dad’s brothers has reddish hair, and blue eyes are very common on his side of the family). Both my sister and I have my mom’s very dark brown eyes.
Number one son was born with amazing blue-grey eyes that have stayed more or less the same color up to now (he’s 7). His hair started out almost white blond and has darkened to something just between brown and blonde.
Number one daughter’s eyes were dark grey at birth, and quickly darkened to be very much like those of myself, my sister and my mom, i.e. a rich dark brown. She also has red hair – even redder than mine was as a kid. I’d never realized how uncommon the combination of true red hair and dark brown eyes was until people started commenting on it, and she is quite striking if I do say so myself. She’s five now, and I’m hoping her hair stays red longer than mine did.
Number two daughter was born with grey eyes that have gotten bluer throughout her first year (she’ll be one at the end of the month). They’re now a gorgeous medium blue. Her hair started out the same very blonde color as my son’s did, but I think hers has stayed blonder longer.
About the only thing we don’t have in the family is anyone with truly green eyes. My dad’s are the closest.
