# Baby squirrel blues...

I have a squirrel nest that has been blown loose from its treetop this afternoon that is occupied by one baby squirrel. I am in central florida. said nest is directly under said treetop(60 foot palm). baby looks to be very,very young. PLEASE ADVISE!

How are you with animals? You can try raising the little guy yourself, my mom did when one got blown in our yard by Hurricane Juan.

We have a very good chance of helping the lil one out if we can get some good advise right now. Oh oh oh I’m told that momma is at the base of the tree right now.

Nest still on ground and temp dropping. still very windy. baby needs advise on becoming long haired rock star.

Sometimes momma will take them back if they are left alone - but you have to watch to make sure nothing else gets him. I don’t remember much of what I once knew about raising them - but I do remember you have to keep them warm. Did you try Google?

Just inside now from attaching nest to tree at as far as I can reach and drive a nail.
