Has anyone ever heard Bach’s Unaccompanied Suites for Cello on violin? I don’t know much about classical music, but I do know that Yo Yo Ma’s recent CD is the music of the spheres. The way I understand it, the violin and the cello have the same tuning, an octave apart. So the music should transpose to the violin without a problem. I’d really be interested in hearing the work on the violin, if anyone knows where I could find it.

I’ve heard 'em on bassoon. Pretty cool.
