Figaro went psycho and would hiss and take swipes at Domino once we arrived, even though they had lived together for seven years. Then she took to peeing on my bed. I had to get a new box spring and mattress and shut her up in the bathroom when I wasnā€™t there. Iā€™m training to take over some of the reporting functions of the geek team in my department. So far, most of the stuff is based upon reports that I already know how to run, so itā€™s filtering things down for different audiences and getting distribution lists. My former boss told me today that heā€™s leaving the company. He took a different position within the department so that he could work remotely from Milwaukee a few months ago. He has an aging father with dementia and is spending a lot of time taking care of his affairs but now he needs full time care. Iā€™m going to miss him. ā˜¹ ---

\*\*Red \*\*- my daughter got some kind of anxiety meds for Cleo, and I give them to her every night mixed in a little wet food. This weekend, Iā€™ll try again with the open door. The biggest hassle will be keeping Higgs out of Cleoā€™s litter box. She loves them kitteh tootsie rolls! Still raining, and itā€™s supposed to continue overnight and into tomorrow, then Thurs night into Firday, but the weekend looks quite nice, so yay for that! Iā€™m about to assume the crochet position on the recliner. Iā€™s tahred - hope I sleep thru tonight. ---

Well its official the high desert going from our season of cold and windy to our other season of hot and windy we only get about 2 1/2 seasons of the year ā€¦it was between 90 and 94 by our thermometer ā€¦ ---

Due to the never ending noise of the roofers **HRH Lucky Louie had to stay home again today as he is skeered**. But the roof is finished as of this afternoon except on Sat they are coming back to drill holes through the concrete and metal every 12 inches. The worker I talked with said it will be extremely loud so I got permission to close on Sat for the normally four hour day. Thus **LL** can get back to irk tomorrow. I am burned out and need a vacay. I may try to take off Firday and have a three day weekend. We shall see. Bucktoother Rooster made dinner. Diners, Drive Ins and Dives was there today filming an episode. I just got a Cobb salad but started feeling puny and will take it for tomorrowā€™s lunch instead. Need a new life. ---

Oh yes, colonoscopies are fun! You get there feeling like your insides have been washed out with Fels-Naptha soap, and when they take you to the holding pen, youā€™re greeted by random farts. At least the milk of amnesia works really well! Iā€™m surprised more restaurants havenā€™t been opened next door to colonoscopy places as all you can think of once you get dressed and stagger out into the daylight holding several 8x10 color glossy photos of your insides is FOOD. FOOD! FOOD! EAT! GET FOOD! NOW EAT FOOD! TAKE ME TO FOOD! At least that page or two of pictures is useful an hour later after youā€™ve eaten and canā€™t remember how your doctor said everything went. Mine was a month ago, and so far, Iā€™m beating the familial odds. ---

Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up and caffeinatinā€™. _YAWN_ ā€˜Tis 55 Amurrkin out and dark even though TWPTB say clear, with a predicted high of 78 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. The big task today is mowage. Yahd needs it and itā€™s supposed to rain this eveninā€™ and tomorrow so I suppose I should just get it done. We shall sup upon salmon patties, peas, smashed N.OT. and bizkits. _Somebody_ pulled sad puppy dawg eyes on me last night and asked if we could sup upon that today. Spoiled brat! **CupCakes** a colonoscopy is awful, but like **flytrap** said, you get good drugs so thereā€™s that. Also **Sunnyā€™s** suggestion of a clear diet the day before is good advice. **Gotti** is right about food. You will want sustenance soonest. Expect to be pretty goofy and out of it for most of the day as well. Iā€™ve had two and was seriously fuzzy haided both times. Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, when thereā€™s enough daylight out, mowage shall commence. I also need to purchase comestibles so I suppose that should be done as well. Happy Hump Day Yā€™all! ---

Nearly done with the assignment. If anyone wants me to properly design them a garden, the answer is no. Donā€™t think Iā€™ll be winning Chelsea Flower Show any time soon. No wonder garden designers are all weird. Red, I donā€™t _have_ to hand draw it, but I donā€™t have any software that can do what I needed to do; excel ainā€™t gonna work. I decided Iā€™d spend longer messing around looking for software and trying to learn to use it than Iā€™d spend just getting on with drawing it, and itā€™s only one assignment. ---

Happy Hump Day! Itā€™s a rainy day, with a high of 63 predicted. Today is pick up groceries day, Iā€™m not looking forward to carrying groceries in in the rain. I forgot to get butter, well I didnā€™t forget, I ordered it but somehow it got dropped from the order and I didnā€™t notice it was missing. I suppose I can use Pam when making omelets. I have a huge blurf today, I hope I wake up soon, but I doubt I will. ---

Well, up again at 0630, got to get back to the sleep-in part of retirement. Contractors due back to finish prepping the area for the concrete (amazing what you can do with concrete), but chances of rain today and Thursday, so donā€™t know when theyā€™ll be able to do the pouring. **Sari,** enjoy the groceries. **Nut,** now worries here, I only grow weeds, so no gardens for me. **FCM** might be interestedā€¦ ---

Louie was traumatized by the roofing so much I had to drug him today with benedryl even though the roofers are not here today making scary noises.
