Surely black olives. After her trip to Mexico, Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) 18 or 19 at the time, brought back the knowledge of how to make burritos like the family she visited prepared them. Chopped black olives was one of the ingredients. ---

How else will he ever meet the one and maybe make Sari a Grandmama? I just came from the Pubic store. I finally got the berries I have been craving all week. Plus lots of chocolate. Well, my new concrete patio is done; took pictures and everything and now I can’t find the wire to hook camera to computer to download. It’ll show up, I’m sure, in the last place I look. Mailed my passport and paperwork to a friend to take to the Chinese Consulate to get my Visa for my trip. Needed information on when I arrived (airline flights), where I am staying, and who’s responsible for me (travel agency has a POC in-country). So no wandering off the beaten path on this trip! Soccer practice is on, so need to get ready for it, and between coaching and refereeing I have another 5-6 hour day at the fields Saturday. At least the weather is supposed to be nice. Decided to walk on the wine hunt, so the headlight bulb remains unchanged. I expect a prompt reminder at 8am tomorrow morning, my time. I’ll see if I can manage it myself this time; last time I had to change a headlight bulb in this car I gave up and had to pay someone. No problem with any other car I’ve had, but this is a tiny car even by English standards, and it’s designed with the exact minimum space to squeeze a hand in, even the guy from the shop took ages and admitted it was unusually tricky. ---

\*\*Nut \*\*- my daughter’s first car was a New Beetle, and if you look in the owner’s manual, it says to take the car to the dealer for headlight replacement. THAT is obscene. Fortunately, the magic of Teh Intrarwebs yielded step-by-step instructions with photos. It wasn’t easy, but it was doable. Changing auto lights shouldn’t be so difficult! ---

I had a VW Jetta one time. I ran into some branches sticking out into the road and broke a headlight. The part alone was almost $200 in 1980’s money. May have been the ‘90’s but still. No more VW’s for me even though I have always wanted a beetle. The newest ones look sort of like a Porsche. I only have about 6 more payments on the present Toyota and dagummit I shall not buy a new car for a while. The one I have now has 70K miles. In Toyota terms it’s barely broke in. ETA. THANK GOD TIS FIRDAY. ‘Twas a long day and week. ---

We have ingested majik intartoobz pizza and sallit. Ice cream for later. Life is good! **Bumba** yes on the black olives. Also for sour cream. Avocado I can take or leave. If it’s there I’ll eat it but if it’s not no biggie. I’d add some chilies or jalapeños but that’s just me. **Midget** have fun! Like **Bumba** said we never behave so why start now. ---

We’ve owned 2 Jettas. One we drove till it literally fell apart in the parking lot - we probably could have fixed it but we decided to junk it. The other got traded in on a PT Cruiser, which I didn’t like at all. My two favorites have been my Aerostar and my Scion xA. I put about 235K on the Aerostar, and my sister is still driving the Scion - it had 106K when I sold it to her. Since it’s Firday, we went to Cracker Barrel so I could have the Friday Fish Fry. Chillage shall now ensue for the evening. Yard work tomorrow. Chocolate cake a little later. Life is pretty good. ---

**bumba** , I would go for the black olives, sub the rest of the red bel for the green and sour cream. If I were making it for me, I’d use guac or salsa verde for the dressing. **metal mouse** , did you make imprints of your hands with the date and your age in the cement? 😃 Have fun **emily**! **nut** , if you are replacing a bulb as opposed to a unit, make sure you wear latex or neoprene gloves. The oil on your hands will ruin some bulbs. I irked, grocery shopped, took Nelson to the dog park, got gas and cash (the safari park doesn’t take sliders) and picked up a burger and tots for supper. Now to make a list for Nelson’s dogsitter. 🙂 ---

Well, iffn it’s [Five O’Clock Somewhere](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPCjC543llU&t=53s), then it’s also 8am somewhere else, right? 😛 To replace the headlight on my car, you gotta park it, turn the wheel, remove the wheel well cover & get an 8yo (anyone older’s arm is too big) to reach up to remove / replace the bulb. High beams, which are used less & therefore burnout less frequently? Pop the hood, untwist at the back, pull out the old one & replace the new one.
