Bill, I’ll volunteer to lead the Brooklyn Arts arm of the mega-fest. Some of the artsy-type things to do in Brooklyn include [ul] [li]The Brooklyn Museum [_]BAM (Although the Brooklyn Acadamy of Art’s online schedule only goes up to Dec 20th right now) [_]Transit Museum[list=a][_]Prospect Park [_]Grand Army Plaza [_]Brooklyn Central Library [_]Brooklyn Botanical GardensLafayette homestead [/ul][/li] Those last few are all within a 4 or 5 block area. [The Brooklyn Historical Society](http://www.brooklynhistory.org/main/index.html) can give attending Dopers more ideas of what to see. Alas, the Cyclone is closed at that time of year. We’ll have some bagels and egg creams, freeze our asses off on the Promenade-- it’ll be fun! [sup]Biggirl wanders off, knowing she won’t get anybody to come into Brooklyn. ---

I hereby suggest that we pick a bar to go to one night where people can, no **should** , drink heavily. A place where people very sensitive to smoke should don 95-grade HEPA filter respirators. A bar where dogs, cats and children must be left outside. Not to insult the fine pet owners, children owners, asthmatics and/or people with dietary resitrictions who post to this board, but if I go out boozing I need to go out hard. I’m 100% in favor of some all-inclusive Doper events, but we also should pick a place where we can separate the mensch from the ubermensch. Do so and I’ll guarantee my Irish-Italian ass will be there. ---
