I’m feeling extremely awful today. The usual morning upset stomach (between post nasal drip and reaction to my meds) still lingers on, and the rest of my insides aren’t happy either. ---

So,Rose, would you call it a blurfy day? \ Get well soon. Winter illness is no fun at all. Me, I had hopes of a cold, so I could use some of my sick time, but no such luck. Made my final decision, I will go to China this year (probably September/October) for my retirement vacation. Want to go along? (lots of yeses here). Got $6,000-$7,000 handy? (ummmm, errr). \ Will set me back quite a bit. Need to plan my budget in the next few months. **Ruble,** sounds like a job I’d like to do post-retirement; but I’ll have to see if there is anything like it down here in Ali-bama. Now back to irk…Squirrel!! ---

I finally have work to do! And it’s a booger, which is why I’m lunching an hour later than usual - I got all involved and lost track of time. Which is good. Yay! Those jungle shipping people… I’m mildly grumpy that they’ve tweaked their algorithms that govern what happens between my clicking Place Order and the dog barking at the UPS guy. Used to be that probably 99% of my orders shipped from Fernley, NV and arrived overnight by ordinary ground service. Now, they know I’m a Prime member and that I didn’t cough up the extra bucks for overnight shipping, so the order sits in a queue and ships the next day so it arrives in the promised two days and not a moment earlier. Except now, the dog doesn’t bark. Our old dog had been ill for a couple of months and had arthritis. She stopped eating and accepting medications earlier this week, and when we looked in her eyes, she was gone, and only a dog-shaped body was still with us so she had her final trip to the vet yesterday. ---

**{{{Gotti}}}** It’s been a day. My mother called and she does not want the available apartment so I can eliminate the stress of moving stuff for a while. Now she doesn’t want anybody to take anything so the house can be staged. Sah-son and I will get his books tomorrow after the orientation, which may make me late for irk. Unless he goes before orientation, but I have no idea how long that will take. OAOASO called me yesterday, BS call in which I answered his question, asked if he wanted anything else, he said no, so I hung up. Then I get a text from him last night. He wants to know if oldest son’s lawyer can call me. That is the son who stayed with me for a few days. I said ok having no idea why he wants to talk to me. The lawyer wants to talk to me about when he was here with the girl - damn if I can remember her name because it was something like snowflake or scarlet or silence. Anyway, it seems that the girl is accusing oldest son of forcing her to sell her body for money. I don’t know anything about that or why it has come up, but I would say from her behavior that she was very familiar with life on the streets so to speak and I doubt that he would have had to force her. Considering that she was hanging all over him, sitting in his lap, hugging, kissing, and gazing into his eyes as he spoke, she certainly wasn’t afraid of him. I didn’t think too much of her - so whatever. If the lawyer calls I’ll say what I know and be done with it. Have I ever mentioned that OAOASO has an extremely messed up family? I always wonder how he came out of it. And I now have a boat sitting out back. On a trailer, with no tags, but it’s up against the fence so nobody should notice unless they go look on purpose. Several years ago OAOASO and I bought a boat. It was against my better judgement but I let him talk me into it. We were supposed to go out boating together, blahblahblah but of course that never happened. So I said I wanted my half of the money back. There were days I thought about taking a chain saw out there and taking my half of the boat, but I’m way too old for that kind of stuff. He has been telling me for a least a year that he was going to give me the boat. Today I get a phone call from him, that his friend and nephew are out back with the boat and where did I want them to put it. I could think of a place, which is not in my back yard. I said I am not prepared for this, you could have told me it was coming and his response - _ **I told you I was bringing it out there** _. Yeah, like the last time was over a month ago. So now I have a boat to sell and have no idea how to sell one. Why can I not have a quiet life? ---

It’s an awful feeling. I hope you can find solace in the good times, rather than the end of her life. My condolences. And now the Sunny report. Today I am working from home. My car pool buddy ditched me and I didn’t feel like tackling the 4 hour commute solo, in the middle of a monsoon. So email, meetings and other projects are from home today. Tomorrow I have to go in, no matter what, as I’m meeting with my VP. Hopefully the car pool will happen. I need to go shopping and get a few errands done. We’ll see if I can squeeze that in at the end of the day. Glasses report tomorrow. No wig. 😃 ---

Late afternoon blurf. I have been super busy but I see the end in sight. It sure makes the time pass fast when busy. I even sold some tables for the air show and I sold a Disney Cruise with very little effort. Nice commission from that. ---

I really hate that all the good car fixit shops around here want you to leave your car with them. Yeah, that’s my only car and I live alone. That ain’t gonna work for me. I’m seriously considering taking it to the dealership next time I need work done on it. They’re right down the street from my irk and they can pick the car up if need be. ---

And don’t try to sell it till at least April, unless you just want it gone - no one is buying boats this time of year. I hope you have the titles for the boat and the trailer. Oh, yeah, home. My afternoon went really fast, and I finished the easier of the two parts I was assigned. I should be able to get the other one done tomorrow. Then I’ll be out of work again… except Jason might let me do the drawings, which would be cool. I forgot to stop at WalMart and pick up some stuff we ordered this weekend. Dammit. I’ll stop tomorrow. Steak for supper tonight, and fresh green beans. And instant smashed N.O.T.s, because we like 'em. C’mon Firday!! ---

I’ve got two titles and some kind of laminated card - certificate of vessel number- it expired in 2011. The titles are signed but still in the name of the guy he got it from. I’m not in a hurry to get rid of it, how do I know somebody won’t come by, hook it up and steal it? Shouldn’t I have gotten keys or something too? ---

Or you could just take one of the tires off the trailer and leave it on blocks! Supper was yum! I just took the comforter out of the washer and put it on the line - it should dry by tomorrow afternoon. I hope. And I’ve put an afghan it its place on the bed. Stoopit cat. I have to say, so far, the response to my party has been underwhelming - two, maybe 3 confirmed. Guess that’s what happens when you live in the boonies. If I don’t get any more in the next week or so, I’ll just take the hint and save myself the effort of cleaning house. At least that’s better than having a dozen people say “I’ll be there” then only 3 show up… I forgot to buy my powerball ticket. Someone else might win my $450 million… :smack: ---

I’m planning on coming, depending on weather of course. I guess I need to get a chain and a lock. He said the keys are in the boat but there is no battery - so like that will stop a thief? It’s not like they will start it up and steal it that way. I didn’t get a power ball, then again I never do since I moved up here. I don’t even know if the convenience store a few blocks down sells them. I need to get out more. ---

**Moooom,** I wish I could come to your party, though if I fly out there on Saturday morning and then the party ends up being cancelled, then I don’t know what I’d do. 😛 Besides, I don’t know what’ll happen if I admit this here on the message board, if the authorities/government can find out and hold it against me, but I don’t currently have any of the anti-anxiety meds I use to soften the inevitable panic attacks I get while flying. I would have liked to come to the party, though. I like parties. Yeah, I’m a shy, socially-awkward, quiet person who also likes parties. Yes, I’m an oddball. I am the oddest ball. ---
