# Back to the Grindstone- A Post Vacation MMP

Pretty much sloth day over here, except for reorganizing the cabinet under the bathroom sink. I do not need any laundry supplies for some time to come, got months’ worth (and deliberately aimed for a year of detergent pods). The Princess, of course, felt this required feline supervision.
Dunno why I’m anxiously monitoring Ida coverage, since I have no ties to that area. Part of it may well be being a bit creeped out (no rational reason for that, of course) about it hitting on the anniversary of Katrina.

Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated, came back to da cave, et sammiches, then chilled/napped for a bit. The late N.O,L./early sup was nummy! Plus leftovers for tomorrow, so win-win! Oh and the strawberry ice cream we made has all but disappeared. I think some of it evaporated! 🍨 Plus also, the biiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can has been hauled all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow.
Ida will miss here but looks like MetalMouse and MOOOOOOM, plus possibly red will get a visit.

We make pretty much the same salad but we put in curry powder. Sometimes I’ll add some celery for crunch.
Not much else to add, except I broke a tooth last week eating Jordan almonds.

Dinner tonight: Salmon, and tuna, sushi. I also had my three leftover hot wings from yesterday.

Mrs. L.A. was asking if they still make those. I assured her they do. But I don’t eat candy anymore.

Just don’t ask “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” That’s so lame! I was asked that when interviewing for a 6 month temp job. Seriously!!
**swampy** - we’re supposed to get some Ida rain on Weds… up to 4", so flooding is a possibility in the area. We’re going to mow tomorrow, lest our grass get to our knees after more rain.

Well it’s like Katrina, plus a pandemic with no ICU beds in the surrounding states. 😦

Yep, looks like Monday evening and Tuesday will be a bit damp around here. Hopefully all we get is the rain. Feeling for the folks down New Orleans way, hope the levees hold this time. Will try to accomplish mowage Moanday morning before the weather turns.
Pretty much a do-nothing day after the Saturday adventures, will be heading off to bed here shortly.
**Sari** , people can be divided into two categories…basically decent people and SOB’s. Sounds like Big Mouth is somewhere on the line. Hope things settle down.
