Oh, so I won’t see it live if it launches tonight, unless I’m up to pee just at the right time. Okay, I’ll have two glasses of water now, and hit the sack!
Go Red Team plumbers…

Go Red Team plumbers…
They’ve adjusted some “visibly loose” bolts and they are trying again.
The Red Team plumbers have finished their work and driven home.
Leak fixed, but now there’s a radar down and the launch is no go unless they can fix it…
You’ve got to be kidding me:
“The range reports to the NASA test director that a bad ethernet switch caused the issue with the radar. Range is now swapping the switch. Work expected to take 70 minutes.”
Is Best Buy even open at this hour?
Switch has been replaced, we’re now in the beginning of the launch window, with countdown holding at 10 minutes.
Edited to add: Launch would be “no earlier than” 1:45 AM.
Some of us have meetings tomorrow morning. I’ll be going to bed.
I hope the rocket lifts off and the mission goes well. One thing we know for sure is that the news tomorrow morning will feature at least one very loud, orange-coloured object. I hope SLS will be the most prominent.
We are at T-10 minutes!
OK, well, maybe not going to bed yet. T minus 6 minutes at this point.
I was about to go to bed too and for the same reason.
Well whaddaya know, they pulled it off !
SRB separation done. Looking good.
weeeeeeee!
MECO and orbit achieved
I’m late to this. Been distracted by petty bullshit. Are there are actual people on this flight? Or is that later?
It’s uncrewed. This is a test flight for the whole stack, including the Orion capsule, which is expected to go around the Moon in a few days if everything goes well.
Thanks, that’s what I figured. Still cool as hell though.
That was awesome! I hope @Robot_Arm had a great view.
This is the part on Kerbal Space Program were the time warp function gets useful.
About half an hour away from the Trans-lunar Injection (TLI) burn!
