No. That is not a good hiking boot. Look for these things in a hiking boot: 1-Real Leather, leather is water resistant and very durable. 2-As few seams as possible, ideally good hiking boots are made from only three pieces of leather, every seam is a weak point. 3-Where there are seams, you want there to be two or three parallel lines of stitching holding everything together, if one thread fails the second will hold. 4-Have a padded tongue for foot comfort. 5-Have a padded ‘Scree-Collar’ (the scree-collar is the top of the boot where sand and pebbles might get in), the padding helps form a seal to keep debris outside the boot. 6-Get actual countryside hiking boots so you get the right kind of tread on the soles, city boots like the ones you are asking about will give poor traction on rough terrain, if your boots have Vibram brand tread/soles then you are in good shape, the tread on your boots is very important. Additionally get some water-seal on your boots since dry feet are important, but water-seal will make your boots less pretty to look at as it will change the color of the leather.
That’s good for a traditional hiking boot, but a lot of folks use lightweight hiking boots and trail runners for hikes like the ones mentioned by the OP. I have full leather hiking boots but only use them on snowy trails or when carrying an overnight backpack. I use trail runners for nearly all of my hikes these days.
