Or Tennessee, **metal mouse**. I think we’re up to 93 straight days with temps above 90F. I’m going to spend some studio (read indoor-under-the-AC) time today. My manager’s birthday is coming up and I’ve sketched out a cool card for him that I will execute (the process, not my boss 😛 ). I get to work in my “guy” palette with this one. ---

They added a freight engine in Eugene. We have a bright orange engine. 😃 We left Eugene about midnight, about 5 hours late. We seem to be steaming along. Scenery is beautiful. My daughter is embracing her teenage-self and sleeping with all curtains drawn. I’m at the dining car, having coffee and a brekkie sandwich. Happy Sunday to all. ---

Lunch break. I’m having a terrible time seeing where I need to paint the black lines. Even tho I “drew” the crabs with grooves in the wet clay, I’m not doing a very good job of following the grooves neatly. I think I need to invest in a magnifying light. Or stop doing things that require sight. Getting old sucks sometimes… ---

I think we should go over easy with the aig puns so as not to upset **flytrap**. Ben and I took a nap. I feel a bit better but somewhat groggy. That’s what sleepin’ with Bed does to me. ---

I’ve quit. In 5+ hours, I did the underglaze on 6 crab spoon rests, 2 large jack-o-lantern cutouts that will be used with votives, and 2 pieces that will become a Halloween door hanging/decoration thingie. I’m just too tahred to do any more today. \*\*FCD \*\*called - he’s on his way to have supper with our daughter and her BF, and he’s ready to come home. I expect he’ll leave Ocala in the wee small hours and get here early in the evening. He said it was 97° there - poor baby! It’s all of 71° here. 😃 Now, what to do for supper? Decisions, decisions… ---

I finished the card for the boss, began a pop up card and fixed lemon garlic chicken, some squish and carrots and a quinoa, mushroom spinach skillet that is definitely going into the recipe rotation. ---

It shirr is easy to make aig puns. 😃 It’s been rainin’. I didn’t even know it for a while but it has rained quite a bit and has cooled off outside somewhat. Nice for sleepin’ which I shall do shortly. Sinuses feel better but I’m all yawny. I’m thinkin’ after effects of Ben. Anywho I feel like I shall sleep really good.
