My Ursala kitteh had her rabies shot last night and is feeling punky today. She didn’t stir off the bed for morning fuds and let me pick her up (which is unheard of). Poor little mite. If she’s not better tonight, back to the vet we go. ---

Had a little adventure this morning. Emphasis on “little”. Power went out about 9:40 ish. All the little gophers (tenants) came out of their holes (apartments) and milled around the courtyard for about an hour until the power came back on. ---

**red** **sunny, swampy** , unfortunately the line as installed didn’t meet code (it was supposed to be 1" away from the roof) so the roofing folks weren’t responsible and the line has been that way since the house was built, so…$500, most of it for labor and refilling the system with coolant. Didn’t complain much, the roof appears to have been well-done and it was $800 less than the next lowest bid, so even with this I’m still ahead–and it is comfortably cool in here now. Waiting for the afternoon appointment to get the TV dish reconfigured. Then on to soccer practice and dinner. ---

Oscar is still with us. I don’t have the details, but there was apparently a fair bit of grumpiness in the form of “Who called the cops on me?” and “I was just kidding!” Uh-uh. That don’t fly with me. It sounds like he was able to weasel his way out of a 5150 hold, which is disappointing. When you’re approximately 50 years old, you should know that crying wolf is a really bad idea, and that there’s a difference between writing “I’m going to jump off a bridge :eek: 😃 lol jk” and “I’m going to jump off a bridge” ---

Spousal unit is well into Jawja already. He figures on hitting Ocala before 6. He’s made pretty good time so far. We’ll see if Jacksonville messes him up. A phone has been installed for my new office mate. All of the crap has been cleared out and dumped in an empty office. I’m guessing the computer will be set up tomorrow. So much for a room of my own… ---
