The SS list of most popular names in the US for 2011 just came out and has been popping up on talk shows. The gentleman said that Jayden and Aidan (4th and 9th respectively) would both have ranked much higher if they included alternate spellings.
Talon’s not bad.

He’ll be Max and he’ll be fine. Talon, on the other hand (or claw as the case may be)… IMO, it’s not a bad rule of thumb to avoid names that rhyme with “felon”, including lazy rhymes like Fallon. Also Jaylor. Just avoid the whole prison scheme altogether.
My sister’s cousin just had a baby boy not long ago whom she named Otis. That’s the worst recent name I know of personally.
