I hate to be That Guy, but despite its widespread popular use, I understand that there’s very little clinical evidence that aloe vera has any positive effect on skin problems, and some people have an allergic reaction to aloe vera itself. I sometimes get contact dermatitis from handling my pets. Clobetasol quite reliably clears it up, but it’s a prescription medication and of course YMMV. ---

Your own “studies” cite says > Due to the differences of products and outcome measures, there is paucity to draw a specific conclusion regarding the effect of aloe vera for burn wound healing. However, cumulative evidence tends to support that aloe vera might be an effective interventions used in burn wound healing for first to second degree burns. Further, well-designed trials with sufficient details of the contents of aloe vera products should be carried out to determine the effectiveness of aloe vera. Emphasis added. So I think my statement “there’s little clinical evidence” is more accurate than “Aloe Vera is good for minor burns”. ---

All the patients of Aloe Vera group were relieved of pain earlier than those_ _patients who were treated with SSD._ _Conclusion: Thermal burns patients dressed with Aloe Vera gel showed advantage compared to those dressed with_ _SSD regarding early wound epithelialization, earlier pain relief and cost-effectiveness_ ---

I’ve certainly noticed that when I have dermatitis on my hands from my rats, washing my hands in hot water greatly increases the itching. ---
