# Bad bad bad spooky area. But only at night

We travelled thru an area today. Seems harmless in the daytime.
A few years ago I traveled this route, alone, at least once a week.
It would be dusk as as soon as I hit this bump in road, Spookesville, here I come.
The air felt weird. Radio stations went static.
First time I saw a big blue light. It was a symbol.
I was thinking church. Or something. There was no community built around it. It was way back in a field. Strange.
This area is wall to wall soybean fields. Not much else.
Well, let me tell you about this area. It’s where the legend of of the Bigfoot in Arkansas started. There’s a movie about it.(The legend of Boggy creek)
There’s the Gurdon light that’s never been figured out. Big legend about a headless train engineer stalking around.
Bonnie and Clyde were chased into Louisiana from there. Some say they apparently as if by magic disappeared from Arkansas and reappeared in Louisiana.
Strange area. Well, saying that all of south Arkansas is weird, it seems.
My house is built on a black hole Indian burial ground thingy. Kind of a portal to hell. I believe. I have my own haunted room and old privy.
So, back to the story.
As I’d drive on thru this area I would see other blue lights. Really bright. A symbol of some kind.
One bright blue line like an arrow.
Pointing to what, I wondered?
My mouth would grow dry. My hair would go all fly away and electrified.
I wanted to speed out of there. I was,at first, scared to speed. Cops seem to hang around small communities as in speed traps. I certainly didn’t want to be stopped here.
The blue lights went on and on.
It’s not the normal color you see as lighting on modest homes.
I’m not sure any houses are here.
On the way up I traveled thru the same area, but I couldn’t ever remember it.
I didn’t understand. Was this some kind of trick of the mind?
I don’t know how I remembered it all today.
Yep. I’m doomed. I know too much.
Aliens are flitting around in plain sight. We’re none the wiser.
Looking for probe victims.

And the Fouke monster is the Bigfoot they made the movie about.

My friend lives in a neighborhood where during the daytime it’s a perfectly fine suburban neighborhood, people watering their lawns for hours (VERY bored people), children swinging from swing sets, dogs running around their gated yards etc.
But the one time I visited my friend at 10PM to pick something up none of the houses had lights on and I shit you not there were over a dozen random children just wandering around the neighborhood with no adults in sight and when I drove through they all surrounded my car when I stopped in front of my friends house, looked at me, then all immediately scattered.
I asked my friend what was going on and he said “Oh, those kids? I don’t know either they just show up once a month”.
