I was reading a recently revived [thread about Beethoven’s deafness](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/beethovens-deafness/557285) in which @panache45 posted several times. I then realized I hadn’t seen a post from him in quite some time. A quick search led me here.

I hope he’s ok, but I agree it doesn’t look good. I wish him all the best though. I really enjoyed reading his posts over the years.
