One time when I was in a Christian bookstore and I was looking at the cheap religious crap there were keychains that said “Smile, Jesus loves kickball.” So completely random, I loved it. ---

For the fish have no legs sticker I always think about the mudskippers. I thought they had vestigal legs, could somewhat breathe air, and could move around outside of the water for quite a long time. HUGS! Sqrl ---

The ‘Penultimate Supper’ post reminded me about the following T-shirt: “Jesus died for my sins, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.” Obviously _not_ a ‘Christian’ T-shirt, but it had me rolling. ---

This is not completely on-topic, but along similar lines. I tried like crazy to find a camera so I could photograph this one. A pleading bumper sticker screams, “Abortion takes a human life!” To illustrate this injustice, the sticker had a graphic of… a baby seal. When I first saw it, it thought it was a revolting picture of a beady-eyed, hairy, beflippered infant. Has anyone else seen this disturbing sticker? ---

The one which sets my teeth on edge is the one which states: “God said it. I believe it. That settles it.” There is something so willfully blind and dogmatic about that one. I’ve nothing against someone having faith, but to not ever question that faith… ---

One of my friends my friends read me an article out of I think it was the Detroit Free Press. An editorial writer, who is Christian, wrote an editorial about something that happened to him. He was stopped at a red light, behind a car with some pro-Christian bumper stickers. One of the stickers on the car said “ **Honk if you love Jesus!** ” So he did. The guy in the car in front of him, got out of the car, took a sawed-off baseball bat, and bashed a huge dent in the hood of the writer’s car. I laughed for five minutes straight. ---

I saw one here in Fargo that answered the “Warning, in case of rapture, car will be unmanned” or what ever. It said “In case of raptue, can I have your car?” Hehehehehe I loved that one… ---
