McDonald’s double cheeseburger. Can’t go wrong with that when you only have a buck to your name. And unfortunately, that’s way too often for me. ☹ The JITB tacos are probably the epitome of good bad fast food. Haven’t gotten it in a while but Wienershnitzel had 5 chili dogs for $5. Or Little Caesar’s $5 large pepperoni pizza. ---

Ditto on the McDonalds. My mom always swore that McDonald’s was the best cure for a hangover. You needed the greasy cheeseburger, the salty fries, and the cold drink with lots of ice. Good times. ---

Churches Chicken: 3 piece dark with a side of okra. I might as well start injecting it directly into my arteries. And damn them for dropping the Cajun Rice. Way better than what they have at Popeye’s. ---

Sonic corn dogs. They had a special on them last night, and my husband went and got some. I could only eat two corn dogs, though. I just couldn’t even start on a third dog. ---

Every once in a while, I have a need to get a big mess of fried food from my local Captain D’s. Fish, fries, hushpuppies, okra, green tomatoes, all of it fried. There should be a long German compound word to describe the feeling of fullness, illness, and guilt that follows such a feast. ---

I can’t believe so many people eat Jack In The Box tacos on purpose. It’s pretty much a greasy hard shell, with some paper-like filling that’s used for meat. Now Carl’s Jr, on the other hand, is some quality bad food. ---

The whole point of JITB tacos is that they’re disgusting – but strangely desirable. Carl’s Jr (et al.) has food that’s ‘bad’ as in ‘unhealthy’ (which is not the point of this thread), but not disgusting. ---

I don’t tend to find food that greasy and fake-tasting to be appetizing, but all right. The absolute nastiest food I’ve eaten on a regular basis was those 7-11 nachos with the diarrhea chili. Terrible, but a Friday night staple nonetheless. ---
