Every time I pass through Atlanta, I have to stop for a Varsity Dog (all the way) and onion rings. I usually skip the FO. When I was Ga Tech, the Varsity was just across I-75/I-85 interchange. The onion rings at the Varsity are incredible. ---

Heavenly Hash ice cream. The type with chocolate ice cream, nuts, and whipped marshmallow, not whole mini-marshmallows. I can eat a bowl every day. ---

The last time I ate a LJS meal I was on the floor with horrific stomach pains. I don’t think man was made to eat an entire meal that could have been deep-fried all-at-once. ---

About twice a year, I absolutely crave… Cheeseburgers from AM/PM. There might be meat. The cheese may or may not have seen a cow. I desire them. ---

Nachos. With fake orange cheese sauce. Usually I get them from Taco Bell, 'coz it’s the cheapest source of fake orange cheese sauce, but there are better-tasting options. Popeye’s red beans and rice. Super fatty, but mmmmm. When in Mexico, [chicharrones](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicharr%C3%B3n), both the real pork-skin and the fake [pasta kind](http://culinarylab.blogspot.com/2008/12/chicharrones-de-harina.html) (with lots of lemon and hot sauce!), and [churros](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Churro). I’d put [birria](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birria) and [menudo](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menudo_(soup)), but that’s usually _good_ fast food. ---

I was totally bombed one night and my friend slurred that she was going to Jack in the Crack. I claimed I wasn’t hungry and in my room-spinning recollection she was gone for about a minute and came back with a sack full of greasy, delicious smelling tacos. I broke down and asked her for one. She laughed and said I’d already had one. I was chagrined indeed to find the greasy wrapper still in my hand. To this day I believe JitB tacos are the best drunk food. ---

Chinese Fast Food … guilty pleasure. I had to ween myself off of it. 5 bucks for easily two meals of greasy chow mein and fried rice and sweet and sour chicken… or pork… I’m never quite sure which it is. But once every few months I will get a container for lunch or dinner and enjoy half of it and then just feel gross about the rest.
