I was curious so I did some Googling and you’re probably thinking of Elizabeth Vargas. She embarrassed Ford by telling he she had a crush on him. I’m not sure if that’s why she left though.

If it’s her, she’s been on national primetime tv news programs and morning shows constantly over the past 20 years (20/20, Dateline, World News Tonight, Today, GMA), except for her brief and well-publicized leave to deal with alcoholism. She’s currently a story on all the gossipy websites/tabloids because of her husband’s (Grammy-winner Marc Cohn) alleged affair while she was in rehab.

It may not be her, but she was the closest thing I could find in my Google searches.
Also, nice to see that Marc Cohn is getting some publicity again. 😃 This is the first time I’ve heard of him in about 20 years.

Huh. His memoirs are pretty good. I doubt a TV interview could add much to those, though.
A better writer than interviewee, I expect.
