Lipoma? I have one of those in my back. Feels like a fatty lump. I had it for a long time before I noticed it, I think. ---

Whatever it is, I want it out. Biopsied, lanced, drained, the skin around it removed, the wound packed and closed… and no matter what the biopsy says… I want what ever they remove burned with fire… ---

Yep, get it looked at and get it out. Lipomas tend to grow. Cysts can drain and return, drain and return. I had a doc laugh at me wanting a tiny cyst removed under my bra strap. I explained that it was rarely tiny, and damn embarrassing when it bursts. ---

It was originally for my son’s computer but he wanted a high-refresh gaming monitor so I kept it, and I love it. You might want to check out the Dell site and read some reviews about what’s current. Pro tip – Dell frequently has sales (or used to have – sorry, I’m out of touch) – used to be called “Dell Days of Deals”. You can follow sites that tip you off or subscribe to Dell notifications of upcoming sales. This particular monitor is really nice with great brightness and colour accuracy, and I also got it at a substantial discount – a winner all around. ---

I’ve also spent some time playing with the settings on this monitor (a 32" Samsung ViewFinity), and it’s actually a bit better than I was giving it credit for, but I think I would ultimately like something a little better for my primary screen. ---

I hate subwoofers. I am indoors. Doors and windows are closed. I cannot concentrate because all my brain can do is track the pulse, pulse, pulse, pulse of somebody’s distant base. I know it’s not cool to consider other people when making noise, but it would be lovely if that changed. ---

I’d bet it’s someone’s car. Put a subwoofer in a car, and that bass is going right through that sheet metal. And making it shake along with the beat. And there’s always a beat. You don’t crank up the bottom on your custom audio setup and blast James Taylor throughout the neighborhood. ---

There’s a lot going right in my life, but depression isn’t one of them. My psychiatrist increased one of my meds about a month ago. It’s difficult to remember to take it but when I manage to do so, the only meaningful difference I’ve seen is I’m even more tired. Sigh. It’s not like typical depression where I consistently feel badly, it’s hormonal where I can go from perfectly fine to wishing for death to white hot blinding rage… And then an hour later I feel fine again. The problem is I’m going through this crazy roller coaster every day. It’s mine old nemesis, PMDD. I’ve been playing birth control roulette for as long as I can remember. We’re running out of options. ---
