# Bad news for Chick-fil-A haters

Chick-fil-A has now passed KFC in revenue, even though KFC has far more stores.

I personally vastly prefer Chick-fil-A’s version of chicken over KFC’s, and I’m clearly not the only one.

Chik-fil-A has great breakfast biscuits. I’m technically boycotting them, but I went to a continuing education seminar in February where they were served. Figured since the food was already bought, it wouldn’t hurt if I ate it. So I did. Tasty!
Our local KFC has decent food, but the service is appalling. The Druidess and I often wonder how they manage to attract the dimmest bulbs on the genetic Christmas tree to work the counter there. If the order comes to $15.23 and you hand the cashier a $20 and a quarter, it will absolutely blow her tiny little mind.

I love Chik-Fil-A, which is why my boycott hurts. (me, not them)
But principles trump taste buds, or they ought to.

I don’t patronize Chik-Fil-A because of their politics, and I don’t go to KFC either because they get their chicken from Tyson, and I don’t purchase or knowingly eat Tyson meat products.

Jack Chick expanded into the food franchise business? I had no idea. Actually it’s a smart move. Don’t they say that the way to a man’s soul is through his stomach? Or something like that.

I don’t have a local Chik-Fil-A so don’t have any active “boycott” or whatever going (although I disagree with the social stances of the management). But I’m not surprised to hear that KFC has fallen to 2nd place to anyone. Last couple times I’ve been to KFC, the pieces sizes seemed to be smaller, the prices expensive and the whole thing just a terrible deal. Back in the day, a bucket of KFC chicken seemed like a tasty bargain, now it’s a “luxury” of dubious satisfaction. I can’t think of a good reason to go there.

One of our two KFC restaurants has gone out of business. The other is filthy and drug dealing goes on there.
We don’t have a Chik-fil-A here. But when I want chicken I make it myself.
I did have a meal of their chicken a couple of years ago in FLA and it was very good.

I’m not sure why it would bother “Chick-fil-A haters” that its US revenues exceeded KFC’s US revenues. And in any case, KFC is much bigger overseas than Chick-fil-A. KFC has over 4,000 outlets in China, 1,200 in Japan, almost 800 in the UK, about 300 in India, etc.

I don’t go to KFC because it sucks.
I’ve never actually been to Chick Fil-A because they’re closed on Sunday, which is the day I’m most likely to be out and about and getting fast food.

I would like the OP to know that chick-fil-a is never going to get a dime of my money. I will sleep well every night, and that is all. Otherwise, chick-fil-a is so entirely insubstantial to my life, that there is no news at all about ckick-fil-a that even merits a judgement from me - good or bad.
If chick-fil-a makes more money than Google next year, that is not bad for me.
If chick-fil-a goes under next year, that is not good for me.
In fact, this very post is the most attention I have ever given chick-fil-a.

That actually is pretty darned impressive to me, considering Chick-fil-A isn’t even open on Sundays.
Like another poster mentioned, it seems like every time I come across a Chick-fil-A–and there’s not too many in the Chicago area (although I believe they’re expanding)–it’s a Sunday, so don’t get a chance. I’ve only been there twice. The food is fine. I’d say pretty damned good for its niche. It’s not something I actively boycott, but their politics are enough that I will consider other options. But I won’t feel dirty eating there, either.

And doesn’t exist at all in large swaths of the country. But I think it says more about how far KFC has fallen, really. Their recipes are all pale, cheaper-to-produce imitations of their originals, I don’t know many folks who like them any more. All of the KFCs I’ve been in lately look like they’re on their last legs.

Never had their food before. However, Popeyes is far superior to KFC.
