Do we have any idea at all why they’d want to strangle and decapitate these kids, then have a celebratory romp in the sack? ---

A story I read on it last week said they felt they were “unable to care for them properly” or something to that effect. No mention of why the killing spree ended in sex though. What gets me is that they kill the kids–awful enough but it happens–but why in the world did they then feel compelled to stab and decaptiate them? It just seems completely unnecessary. My first reaction is that anyone who would do something like this _has_ to be a nutcase, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking. Either way, those kids deserved better. ☹ Here’s hoping they’re at least at peace now. ---

Isn’t it in fact difficult to decapitate someone? Uggh! This might be my mom’s new argument as to why I’m not _the worst_ mother in the world. (Currently it’s a woman who only killed one of her kids, and didn’t decapitate her.) I’m with **SUPERKARLENE** - I just about lost it when I read that bit. Ooh baby, you’re so sexy when you’re homicidal! ---

That is so fucked up. As a parent, I cannot understand it, in this or any other universe. I knew I shouldn’t have clicked on the link. That was almost as bad as the foster mom who mummified her kids with duct tape so they wouldn’t crawl out of their cribs. The death penalty is simply too good for some people. ---

In 1989, a drug smuggler in Matamoros, Aldolpho Constanzo “terrified his enemies and manipulated his followers by practicing his own blend of Afro-Caribbean ritual practices, including santeria and palo mayombe, neither of which condone human sacrifice.” 13 mutilated bodies were found buried on a ranch including the corpse of a UT student that had disappeared in Matamoros during spring break. Brownsville is less than 15 miles from Matamoros. It’s a big drug smuggling spot. The way the children were murdered and decapitated and the fact the the parents then had sex makes me wonder if this isn’t some perversion of a voodoo ritual that they performed. Just a thought.
