To be fair, its ferocity has been known awhile. South Africa named an [armored vehicle](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratel_IFV) after them. Which are you? A honey badger or a badgerbadgerbadger? Honey badgers are more closely related to martens, the red headed stepchild of mustelids. ---

Well seeing as how I have a large American Badger tatooed on my forearm it would be a bit late to claim a relation to the honey badger. Been a nickname since I was a kid. ---
