# Baffling Comments/Compliments

I have had two weird “compliments”  
When I used to work in a grocery store down in Philomath, a guy kind of fixated on me and told me once I had beautiful eyebrows. WTF?  
At least 10 years ago I dated a guy who upon seeing my breasts for the first time said my nipples were _meant_ for nipple clips. WTF???  
Another mildly inappropriate comment was with a different guy I was naked in front of for the first time who said I looked just like a model from a porn mag.  
Can I pick the smooth guys or what?

My bubbe has been known to rhapsodize about my eyebrows. When I was young, she used to make me promise never to pluck them.

The funny thing is, my eyebrows are AWFUL. They’re thick and black and unibrow-y. Back in Chicago, I would get them threaded every two weeks, or they’d begin to take over my face. (I bought tweezers here in the BG, but I can’t do nearly as good a job as my threading lady in Rodgers Park. Foo.)
