Hi Opal! is a reference to a poster **OpalCat** ’s pet peeve that all lists should have at least three items. To flesh out a two-item list people began adding “Hi Opal!” And then after a while it just became the third item of every list. However, I wouldn’t recommend ever using it. It’s sooo 20th century, and it’s really gotten to the point where most people find it annoying. ---
