# Bail Organa's Speeder in Ep.3 RotS

Have any pics of it shown up on the net yet? I’m asking, because Lucas’s folks supposedly modeled the thing after a Tucker. (George used to own two, not sure if he’s still got them or not.)

Actually hadn’t seen those before. Can’t tell much from the exterior illustration, but the interior shows a few elements, however, I’m certain that Tucker never would have stood for having a giant plastic or metal tit pointed directly at the driver/pilot.

To me the exterior shot seems to hint of rounded part of the hood out towards the headlights in a Tucker. The interior shot looks to have some art decoish styling that I could see being associated with a Tucker. The speeder is for sure not based on a Delorian.

It’s not the best shot, but [here’s a close up of a Tucker’s instrument panel](http://www.hfmgv.org/exhibits/showroom/1948/b37732.jpg). As you can see, there’s an instrument cluster above the steering yoke which seems to reflect the design of the Tucker’s. I think Tucker would be proud.

No, that wouldn’t be a good idea. I’m unemployed at the moment, and thumbing through the book would no doubt fill me with a desire to buy the thing, which I can’t. . . .
