Gas bill Actually not sure what this is referred to in the US. This is a utility bill for the natural gas I have used for heating my home and cooking. As we refer to the fuel used in cars as petrol there is no confusion. ---

I have gas heat in my home. During summer months I’m billed the minimum rate, or “hookup charges.” (Yes, it’s a scam, but the Gas Company can shut off my flow if I don’t pay, and to reconnect costs much more.) ---
