Overheard around the White House recently 1. “How can such a big germophobe refuse to wear a mask?” 2. “Where’s Tulsi?” 3. “I want a copy of John Bolton’s book. And somebody to explain the big words to me!” 4. “I’m preparing the President’s national security briefing. Who’s good at drawing?” 5. “Somebody doesn’t love me!” 6. “Get me more spray tan! I’m running out of spray tan!” 7. “Thank God we don’t have a statue of Robert E. Lee on the South Lawn already.” 8. “Which way to the bunker?” 9. “If you don’t take your vitamins, Mr. President, the big bad protestors will come back again.” 10. “I wonder if it’s too soon to start polishing my resume…” 11. “Hey, did anybody return that Bible to the public library?” 12. “Who is this Josiah Bartlet guy I keep hearing about?” 13. “There are so many dogwhistles going off around here, I think I’m turning into a cocker spaniel.” Pass. ---
