On April 24, 1916, the Easter Rebellion began in Dublin IRL that Easter Monday. So – anything Easter, or Rebellion, or Dublin, or Ireland, or Monday.

1. Christ is Risen on Easter Sunday – what we Christians believe.
2. Easter is celebrated one week later in Eastern Orthodox Church than it is in most other denominations.
3. A memorable poem about the Rebellion, written in Sept. 1916, “Easter, 1916” by W B Yeats
4. Easter is a movable feast whose date is determined by the full moon. Easter does not fall on a fixed date. To determine the date for Easter Sunday, it is the first Sunday after the first full moon that is either on or after 21 March. Because of this, 22 March is the earliest possible Easter date, and 25 April is the latest.
5. The Easter Bunny
6. Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter Sunday.
7. A Dad Joke: Why is the capital of Ireland so huge? Because it’s always Dublin.
8. The song _Give Ireland Back to the Irish_ was released in February 1972
