New Year’s Resolutions You Are Sure You Can Keep 1. I will not invade and conquer Paraguay this year. 2. I will not play any football, soccer, or rugby. 3. I will not summit Mt. Everest. This year. 4. I will not lead the first manned mission to Pluto. Unless NASA asks VERY nicely. 5. [del]I will not swear like a goddamned sailor[/del] I won’t be late for Sunday Mass. 6. I will not contribute to global warming by Formula 1 racing. 7. I will not eat Green Eggs and Ham. 8. I will not single-handedly exhaust the world’s supply of chocolate. 9. I will not lose weight or start smoking. 10. I will not let my kitteh go a whole day without scritches 11. I will not spend more than twenty-four hours online in a single day. ---
