NFL kickers/punters who should already have gone into the Pro Football Kickers Hall of Fame (if such existed):

1. Ray Guy
2. Tom Dempsey
3. Mark Moseley – Only kicker to win the MVP('82) and last of the “straight-on” place kickers
4. Scott “Wide Right” Norwood
5. Tommy Davis, the 49ers’ punter in the Sixties.
6. Mike Vanderjagt, Colts’ field goal kicker

He retired as the most accurate field goal kicker in CFL and NFL history of all kickers with at least 100 field goal attempts (230 of 266, 86.5% as of January 2010).

13. Jan Stenerud, KC Chiefs - who could have won the 1971 playoff game in regulation had Hank Stram let him try a 65-yard field goal on the last play. Stram decided against it, and this game went on to become the longest game in NFL history, a double-overtime playoff classic won by Garo Yepremian’s (#10 in this list) kick. The game was in Kansas City, and it was on Christmas Day.
